Mr. Dylan Pearcy
Dylan Pearcy is the son of a debate coach and has been around debate since he was eight years old. One of the most successful small school debaters of the 1990's, his successes included qualifying for NFL Nationals in Lincoln-Douglas and extemporaneous speaking, reaching the quarterfinals of TFA State in Lincoln-Douglas, reaching the quarterfinals of UIL State in policy debate and placing at UIL State in extemporaneous speaking four times. As a lecturer and consultant he has worked directly with more than 50 UIL state qualifiers including champions in Lincoln-Douglas, policy debate and extemporaneous speaking. He has worked at UIL, lectured at Student Activity Conferences and taught at summer institutes. Now in his second year as a teacher and coach at Sealy High School he is dedicated to helping students maximize their debate and educational potential. We are happy to welcome him to his second summer at The Championship Debate Group as our lead Lincoln-Douglas teacher.
