Mr. Tommy Clancy
As a student at Westwood High School, Tommy won the St. Marks Tournment, the University of Colorado Tournament, and the Colleyville Heritage Tournament. He was also a finalist at the Tournament of Champions and TFA State. Tommy now coaches for Westlake High School and has coached a close-out of TFA State, a finalist at TFA State, the University of Texas Champion, The St. Marks Champion, and The Greenhill Champion. While this will be his sixth year as a lab instructor, We welcome Tommy to The Championship Debate Group for his third summer.
 
Mr. Ryan Cooper
Ryan debated for Westlake High School, where he qualified for the Tournament of Champions in both his junior and senior year. He was a finalist at TFA state his sophomore year, and participated in the NFL tournament his sophomore and junior year, breaking to outrounds as a junior. As a senior, Ryan won both the St. Marks Tournament and the Greenhill Tournament, and participated in outrounds at the Glenbrooks, University of Texas, and the Victory Briefs Tournament. Ryan is currently the LD coach at the Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas. We welcome Ryan to The Championship Debate Group for his third summer.
 
Mr. Josh Aguilar
In his second year as an assistant coach, Josh has been instrumental in transforming Salado High School into a force on the UIL, TFA and national circuits. His accomplishments include coaching the 2007 UIL AA Champion, back to back championships at the Hays TFA invitational and the Round Rock TFA champion. His debaters have also participated in outrounds at the Grapevine, Memorial, Churchill, and the University of Texas tournaments. As a debater for Hays High School, Josh won or was in finals at the Westlake, McNeil, Akins, and John Jay tournaments. Josh is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin.
 
Ms. Becca Traber
As a debater for the Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas, Becca has amassed a truly outstanding performance record. During her junior year Becca was a finalist at University of Texas tournament, won Bronx Science, and was a semi-finalist at the Emory tournament. As a senior Becca has already won such prestigious tournaments as the Grapevine, Memorial, University of Texas, and Berkeley invitationals. Next year, Becca will be attending Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
