Dormitory Living
The Championship Debate Group is committed to providing students with a secure, comfortable, and enjoyable living environment. Our dorms are fully air-conditioned and provide spacious rooms for recreation, television, and socializing. The dormitory is conveniently located in the heart of the campus only one block from the library and classroom buildings. Students living in the dorms have easy access to the university health center, the union, post office, bookstore, and full athletic center including swimming facilities.
The Residence Hall offers the following amenities:
- Single occupancy suite-style rooms
- Suite bath and shower
- Full Size Refrigerator and Microwave Oven
- Phone lines, ethernet, and basic cable
- Furnished with desks, chairs, study lights, bookshelves, bulletin boards, standard twin bed, closets, and dressers
- 24 hour laundry machines
- 24 hour access to vending & microwaves
- Computer lab, TV, and study lounges
As participants staying in the dorms, you will also have access to:
Student Union Game Room: Pool, shuffleboard, and computer games. Perfect place to take a break.
Union Coffeehouse: serving coffee and specialty drinks.
Computer Lab: contains 10 PC's, 2 MAC's, 2 flatbed scanners, and 2 printers.
