1. Is there a program for students who are returning to the Lincoln Douglas Institute?
Yes. In the Summer of 2008 special labs have been created to insure that returning students will experience a new and challenging curriculum. Additional seminars and practice debates have been scheduled to challenge even the most advanced students.

3. How much does each Institute cost, and What is the deadline for registration and payment?
All tuition costs and deadlines can be found on the Online Application page.
 
4. What general items should I bring to the institute?
Generally, all students should bring clothing appropriate for Texas summers, linens, pillows, towels, and toiletry items. Please refer to the General Information document for a detailed explanation of what to bring to the Institute.
 
5. How do I know if I have been accepted to the Institute?
To view your enrollment status at any time, please login to your personal profile using your user name and password.
 
6. How do I apply for an institute?
You may apply to any Institute by going to the Online Application page and creating an account. By doing this, you will receive automatic email updates to keep you informed of your status and other institute information.
 
7. Do you offer financial aid?
Yes, there are a limited number of monies for financial aid. To apply for financial aid, please submit a letter from you, your parents/guardians, and your speech and/or debate coach detailing both your need for aid as well as your commitment to the activity of speech/debate. Financial aid is not guaranteed and requests must be submitted by May 1.

As an alternative, many students have had a great deal of success in appealing to local community groups to sponsor their involvement in speech and debate.
