The Library
All resources in the St. Edwards University library are fully available to The Championship Debate Group students. The library contains a Government Documents collection, a sizable and current collection of books and journals, and specialties in a number of public policy areas.
The Championship Debate Group will supplement the Concordia library collection in two important ways:
- The Reserve Collection. A special collection of unique materials specific to the 2005-2006 topic will be assembled after substantial consultation with expert individuals and organizations in the subject area, just like the collection the staff creates for their own teams.
- Computerized Resources. The Championship Debate Group will make available facilities with which students can access the exploding array of computerized research materials, including legal Lexis-Nexis access. These resources will also be available to students from their dorm rooms.
