| Middle School Leadership Camp |
There is no single “skill” more important in school, business, or life than “leadership”. Colleges today will tell any parent that demonstrating leadership in school and the
community is major criterion for acceptance to the most competitive colleges in the country.
TCG starts with the understanding that “leaders are not born”; they are individuals who have learned and practiced the skills of leadership.
In our five day leadership workshop middle school students will come to understand how to be an effective leader as well as a successful participant in any setting.
Our workshop teaches leadership skills through seminars, simulations, games, experiential learning, self reflection, and motivational speeches. Our students will hear
from our experienced staff as well as successful community leaders. Students will learn to set appropriate goals, organize their studies and their lives, improve their
listening skills, and develop the self confidence to speak in front of a group. Learning to take constructive criticism and develop appropriate strategies for self
improvement is critical to success in life. We strongly believe that these five days could be a formative time in a middle school student’s life. What’s more, the
student will have fun while learning to become a strong and effective leader.
