| Middle School Theatre Camp |
The Championship Group Middle School Theater camp is a one week program designed to allow students to have fun while challenging students to maximize creativity and critical thinking. Team building games and exercises, acting methods, playwriting, improvisation, and pantomime are just a few of the exciting activities guaranteed to build self esteem and self confidence. This is not a “sit in your seat and take notes” camp. Activities include simulations, scene and monologue development, games, rehearsals, and plenty of student directed activities. The camp will also improve writing skills and teach students script reading skills to enhance all aspects of their ability to read and comprehend. This camp will help students to appreciate all aspects of the theater and guarantees to develop necessary skills in the theatrical arts. Students will end the week with a showcase performance for parents, friends, and neighbors.
