Lydia Coats has taught at the Westwood Fine Arts Academy for 10 years. She specializes in theatre for children, acting, directing, speech, costume design, and make-up crafts. She has directed numerous productions both on stage and on screen including the plays The Tempest, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, and You Can't Take it With You, and the short film Mending Fences. Educated at The University of Texas, Lydia maintains membership in the nation's largest educational theatre organization, Texas Educational Theatre Association, and has conducted workshops for local community theatres and elementary schools. She lives in Round Rock with her husband Cliff, and son, Conall.
 
Shelley Livaudais is a former high school teacher who has worked with middle school and high school students for over a decade. As the former director of debate at Westwood High School, Shelley coached debaters to local, state and national success. Shelley has also worked with middle and high school students at summer debate workshops and at the Upward Bound program in Austin. Since 'retiring' from teaching, Shelley has provided websites and other support for local candidates and for several nonprofit organizations in the area, including The Cipher, a community project for young music artists in East Austin. Shelley also blogs for several political and technology websites. She lives in Northwest Austin with her husband Frank, her 7 year-old son Christopher, and two zany dogs.
